Introduction: The traditional sport of Target Archery has been

around for hundreds of years and needs little introduction.

Despite your initial thoughts it is one of the UK’s safest official sports.

Archery is a perfect activity for any corporate event, team building

session, youth groups, schools, galas, fetes, funday events or just for

the hell of it and our Mobile archery packages bring fun & learning to

you & your guests, whatever the event.

Archery is an ancient and relatively simple sport that’s suitable for all ages from 8 years upwards. With archery the fitness of the participants doesn’t come into it and, with a little coaching from our fully trained archery instructors, even complete novices will be hitting the target with scoring arrows in no time at all gaining a real sense of achievement whilst having a huge amount of fun.

The Equipment: We will supply a complete set of professional quality re-curve bows, similar to those used in the Olympics to match the selected number of high energy absorbing targets & are happy to run your event in a number of ways meaning events can be as relaxed or as competitive as you wish.

For events where we’ll have the same participants throughout, such as team building archery, youth clubs, schools our archery instructors will spend more time giving a more formal instructions throughout the event explaining the basics of archery and coaching to ensure that everyone is hitting the target. In the later half of the session we’ll then hold a grand archery competition or a series of competitions with some different archery games, for participants to test out their new archery skills.

We even have a set of replacement targets that feature a giant Dart Board and are happy to produce custom targets such as a pictures of famous people or even the boss which can be really good fun.

For larger attendance events where participants will be continually changing, such as family fun days, school & village galas, it’s a knockouts each participant will get six arrows per go and a short safety briefing and firing instruction will be provided by our archery staff on a one-to-one basis before they are permitted to fire.

Safety: Safety at all our archery events is paramount and we will ensure that a safe shooting area is maintained at all times to protect anyone in the vicinity. There hasn’t been a serious accident in archery as a whole for over 15 years and we want ensure that good record continues!

We at Funbounce Entertainment haven’t had a single accident relating to archery ever as we ensure the best possible shooting location is chosen & cordoned off where necessary, full time supervision is in place at all times & we provide finger & arm guards for every participants.

As well as fenced off shooting areas we can use arrow proof ballistics safety netting behind the targets where necessary. 

We carry a £5,000,000 Public Liability for your piece of mind and risk assessments are available if required. All our archery staff are fully trained to a professional standard although surprisingly there aim does need a little work!
