Calling all you budding Lewis Hamilton's out there! Weather your as young as 7 or as old as 70 your bound to love our NEW Giant 4 car Scalextric (Slot Car) race track.
With one of the largest hire tracks available, each lane totals nearly 70ft in length and incorporates very fast, long Straights, sweeping bends, slaloms, crossovers & we have recently added a flyover and an underpass bridge to bring even more excitement to the table, making us the number one supplier of Giant 4 car Scalextric Hire in Leeds, Giant Scalextric Hire in Wakefield, Giant 4 casr Scalextric Hire in York and the rest of the UK
This Scalextric track is the newest digital version available. This allows up to 4 cars on any lane, yes any lane! The cars can also switch lane, pull into lay bys and overtake on the same track as if by magic. The track also features some of the best gadgets on the market. A digital lap counter, Digital race timer & even has automated start lights that disable the cars until the lights go green.
As part of our organised races, we have the ability to start select the number of laps and number of pit stops electronically which adds a whole new dimension to this age old classic.
The Race...
As you line up for the start of the grid, your pulse racing and you trigger finger twitching you wait for the command.... Go Go Go, Your engines burst into life as the cars race down the main straight and into the first corner, you make it through in one piece but will you hold your nerve for the full 10 laps and emerge as the ultimate Grant Prix winner!!!
During a grand prix race, you must make 3 compulsory pit stops in the dedicated pit lane but wait! there's a twist... The pit lane is only available at random intervals throughout the race for a period of 5 seconds at a time when the pit lane lights up green.
During this time you must perform a pit stop before the lights go out. Each time a pit stop is made, one of your team colour lights will become un-lit, but be careful... entering the pit lane on a red light will result in a pit stop being added, thus reducing the chances of winning.
Our pit crew/ Race marshals will stay with you throughout the event and ensure that everything runs as smoothly as possible. If your car crashes out of the race, then the marshals will place you back on the track and help regulate the gameplay.
